APRIL 2011
WOW! This is the busiest I have ever been. With the new TRANSFORMERS PRIME show I am supervising/art directing I have not been able to post many new pieces here on DA, but I haven't stopped drawing monsters. I am really pushing myself this time around but will have a lot of cool things coming out this year. 3 NEW BOOKS this year! Two will be released in Europe first, but will eventually make it to the US distributors, and two will also feature intros from Rob Zombie.
10,000 ZOMBIES! - This is a flip book where you can choose different heads, torsos and legs to create up to 10,000 zombie combinations. I drew ALL these zombies parts and Alexander Cox writes stories for each part where you can mix and match the tales to go with the undead. Pretty freaking cool book that I am really proud of. HOW TO DRAW CHILLER MONSTERS, WEREWOLVES, VAMPIRES, AND ZOMBIES - This book is authored by J. David Spurlock and features many fantastic artists. It is an honor to be included with guys like Neal Adams, Basil Gogos, Wally Wood, Alex Horley, John Romita Sr., Kerry Gammil and Steranko. The amazon link shows they used my art for the cover which is pretty cool. Amazon says the book will be out in September. THE LOVECRAFT ANTHOLOGY - This an anthology of comic adaptations from the work of H.P. Lovecraft and edited by Dan Lockwood. Dan wrote the adaptation for the story I illustrated, "The Rats in the Walls". This is one of my many favorites by Lovecraft and was a lot of fun to do. JANUARY 24th, 2010
Wow, it has been a crazy year so far that looks to be more busy than the last. I am directing a pilot for Disney as well as supervising directing at a new studio which has been eating up all my time. There is a new live-action short film/series I've been working on for awhile which should hopefully be finished up soon. Numerous publications came out last year and I have several slated for this year as well. A couple things to look out for in the near future are...
- SHOCK FESTIVAL DVD - This is a DVD put out by Stephen Romano that is 3 discs long of movie trailers!!! Included in the series are some fake trailers that I was able to contribute to. Be sure to look for "Evolver!" one of my favorites.
- New art for Rob Zombie's "HELLBILLY DELUXE 2". The art is on Thirts that are out now.

Good grief! I keep forgetting to update this site and I take so long in-between bouts that I forget how to even do it. This past year has been crazy for me, directing Winnie the Pooh ( Which I got 2 Emmy Noms including Best Director ), some comics with Rob Zombie, directing a live-action horror project with Don Coscarelli as producer, and trying to find the time to draw the dead things I love so much. Oh yea... and being a good father to my daughter.
This year doesn't look any easier, which I guess is a good thing. I hope to put out an artbook as well as release the project I am filming now. The footage is looking great so far so I hope this comes out cool.

STEVE NILES' STRANGE CASES
I finished doing the art for a new series for Image Comics and Steve Niles titled "STRANGE CASES". The book is written by Dan Wickline and put out through Image comics in conjunction with D2C games. If you like my monsters and girls then you need to check this book out. All 4 issues are out now and the 3rd issue has YETIS! FUN!
 
 
MY FRIENDS TIGGER and POOH
The show I have been directing for Disney is on the air and doing really well in the ratings. Believe it or not, I love working on this show and it is sad it will be coming to a close soon. I directed a musical, yep you read that right, a musical with a full orchestra and everything. This will be released on DVD sometime this spring and has some really fun scenes.

MOVIE UPDATE!
The feature length horror film is moving along slowly.
I'm currently in the early stages of a feature length horror film to be produced by Don Coscarelli ( Phantasm, Bubba Ho-Tep) and I need help. I'm looking to make an army of fresh new Make-up artists (traditional and fx), mask makers, CGI artists/animators, compositors... any untapped talent looking to work on a feature film.
